Having a ball
This weekend started at the Night Safari to celebrate Alice's friend Chloe's 8th birthday. We had dinner beforehand watching the fire show which we had not seen before and was great entertainment. Last night Matt and I went to the Australia Day Ball with friends from the condo. It was a great night of dancing and we even bought a chinese cabinet at the silent auction. Today Matt and Alice did some more geo-caching while Felicity and I spent most of the day at the pool.

The Kingstons ran a picnic day at their beachside house on 30/1 for mainly Canterbury Sunday School and a few others. Tam and kids came and we lost Seb for a while - panic soon sets in. Rohan found him back at the car park. The old computer found a new home with Jenny Morgan and we delivered it via Dandy meeting on Sunday 31/1. Malcom Reeve spoke to the topic of "Ready, Willing and Able" in relation to when Jesus returns. Very disconcerting as I wondered what I would want to go back for - able and willing but maybe not ready?
