Some Great Days

So the Day family has finally arrived. We met them at the airport and for those who are interested if you are ever at Changi and looking for something to do, there is a 1.5 storey high slide for kids and also a 3 storey slide but that one requires you to spend $30 somewhere at the terminal and be over 1.3m. We were very excited to meet ZORK at the airport. (Zoe, Otto, Rohan & Kim). We had a lovely dinner by the pool on Saturday.

On Sunday the rain prevented us heading to MacRitchie for a walk so we went to the Asian Civilisation Museum, then a boat cruise past the Merlion followed by Yum Cha at Chinatown for lunch. Some headed home after lunch, while the shoppers continued on... And it was the very atmospheric Polo Club for dinner.

Today we explored MacRitchie for monkey-spotting and were well rewarded, a swim in the afternooon (Alice trying to play "limpet" with Uncle Rohan while he swam a kilometre and I think she may have won the battle - it depends who you talk to) and it was Little India for dinner. Anyone with suggestions for other headlines using "Day" let me know. I fear I will run out of inspiration!
